Welcome to our website! Troop 521 meets every Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Cool Spring Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

We are a large and very active troop with a variety of activities and scheduled monthly outings. We attribute our success to our active adult leadership, "boy-run troop" philosophy with focus on advancement, merit badges and high adventure activities which keeps our scouts very interested and involved.

Due to a scheduling snafu, we have had to change our Troop Meeting location for Tuesday, June 16th. We were planning to meet at the church pavilion due to Vacation Bible School but have found that it was double-booked!

We will be meeting instead at Hanover Wayside Park, 8225 Hanover Wayside Drive, off of Chamberlayne Road (US 301, just north of Hanover High School.). We have reserved one of the picnic shelters in case of bad weather. We do have a guest speaker scheduled to talk about flag protocol.

Every one who attends Summer Camp will receive one of this year’s T-shirts. If any participants want an additional T-shirt, they may order them - $20 for adult sizes Small, Medium, Large, XL; $25 for adult sizes 2XL, 3XL, 4XL. These T-shirts are available for anyone else in the Troop to order. They are A4 Cooling Performance Short Sleeve – the same type that we had last year. The design is relevant to the America 250 theme!
